Job Title: System Performance & Reliability Engineer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat / Thane, Maharashtra

➡ India's first MW BESS installation

➡ Signed agreement with IFC for implementation of BESS platform in India and South Asia.

Key Responsibilities:
➡Analyze the performance of the systems, identify under-performing areas and sub-systems, provide an understanding of system behaviour.
➡Review monthly and annual reports for accuracy to contract requirements. ➡Meet with internal and external stakeholders to review reports, explore continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in contract negotiations.
➡Determine BESS and PV+BESS Plant KPI’s with emphasis on improving BESS operational uptime and providing cost reductions.
➡Perform simulations using various industry standard programs including PVSyst.
➡Review contract availability and performance ratio guarantees.
➡Assist in development of automated diagnostic tools to flag underperforming systems.
➡Conduct the onboarding of new projects, from gathering plant information to full integration in our monitoring platform.
➡Manage the maintenance and development of scripts and queries to collect, archive and analyze data.
➡Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as EMS team, project managers, Product development team, and service team. Provide technical support and guidance to ensure optimal performance of the plants.
➡Complete other duties and projects as assigned
➡Support 3rd Party Asset Management & services initiatives, seek opportunities for value-add and monetization, be an external advocate for services platform.

Qualification & Experience:
➡Engineering degree with background in electrical engineering (AD/DC power generation) with a strong knowledge of photovoltaic power plants and battery storage energy systems.
➡Minimum 5 years' experience in energy systems and performance monitoring.
