Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to roll out a range of significant agricultural and animal husbandry initiatives totaling ₹23,300 crore during his visit to Maharashtra on Saturday. As part of these efforts, Modi will release the 18th instalment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, allocating ₹20,000 crore to benefit approximately 9.4 crore farmers in Washim, Maharashtra. This instalment will raise the total disbursements under PM-KISAN to around ₹3.45 lakh crore. Additionally, Modi will release ₹2,000 crore as the 5th instalment of the NaMo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.
