Jupiter Wagons Group is looking for Senior Design Professional - Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 yrs of experience in the manufacturing/engineering industry.

Key responsibilities and requirements:

-Hands-on experience on CREO, STAAD, and Ansys is a must.
-Excellent background in conceiving, designing and executing a variety of heavy fabricated structures like ISO Containers, SKID systems, Portable Homes, Automotive Bodies, etc.
-Lead the design team in creating 3D models for various proposal/production systems and products.
-Oversee all design activities including RFQs, design freeze/release, DFMEA, PPAP, DV & PV testing, and CAE.
-Present design concepts, costs, and updates effectively to senior management and customers.
-Liaise closely with all departments to understand design requirements thoroughly.
-Respond promptly to RFQs from the Sales/Marketing team.
-Conceptualize new designs and revisions, creating detailed costed design blueprints.
-Provide production support to improve lead times and reliability performance.
-Ensure compliance with international standards and legislation in design.
-Analyze and resolve issues using tools such as FEA and FMEA.
-Drive product development, innovation, and engineering advancements.
-Implement design improvements focusing on functionality, cost, and manufacturability.
-Report on target achievements and recommend necessary actions.
